So I was trying to organize the camera roll. It shows photos sorted by creation date. In theory then, one could pick date in the past to create an artificial sort order...
1900 -vintage photos from the past
1901 -vases
1902 -flowers
1903 -landscapes
etc.
I thought I could change the creation dates of photos on the MAC and then airdrop them to the ipad... but I found:
- "touch -t" in the console on the MAC no longer works (to protect the OS)
- I used "touch -t" in Ubuntu, and then copied them to the ipad using airdrop, but airdrop re-writes the creation date as: "today"so they get placed as 'the most recent' photos. :-(
I found and purchased Batch Photo Redate in the ios app store, but it didn't work well. It proved the concept though.
